At Dorset Water Softeners we believe that it is not just about selling our customers great Softeners but also looking after that unit for its life time. That is why we constantly keep our skills updated. This is the Harvey's training area where Dave ( genius) is showing Benji ( our soon to be apprentice) and Danial ( my right hand man) the latest updates and test facilities.
By the time we left I felt we could strip the machines down in the dark with one hand tide behind our backs. haha.

Needs must
filling a Watwr softener
when we install a water softener for the first time we normally need to prime it with fresh water. We donot normally use a wheel barrow but unfortunately we had misplaced our filling jug. Nice colour.
The Purbecks
if you live in the Purbecks, Swanage, Corfe Castle, Studland or Wareham you know that the water is very hard. Yes I know the beach is nice but the water coming out off your tap is ruining your home and costing you money. It's because it is full of scale. The answer. this old Culligan had done sterling service for over 20 years. But like all good things it must come to an end.

A bit of extra plumbing was all it needed. Remember we do all of our own installs.
Nespresso coffee
we love our company nespresso machine. Guess what it makes the best coffee when you take out the calcium. We do that with our water softener. The great thing is that with a water softener the machine stays scale free.Lovelly.
Our new website.
We have revamped out website. The reason is so many of our customers access it via tablets and phones. Our old site had issues with these.
This new site will work on all devices. We have an update shop for buying salt and filters.
So please have a look, I am pretty rubbish at spelling so let me know what mistakes you find please.
Tea and Kettles
look at this beautiful glass kettle. Do you have a scaled up kettle? Is it full of chalk? Do you clean it out every week?
As you can see this kettle stays clean. The secret soft water.
outside taps
we often get asked to fit an additional outside tap. We use these great holders with three screws so no loose taps.
